our old stone house and ancient silkfarm on the edge of the Cevennes Mountains and is located in a small quiet valley surrounded by woods.

You enter this old middle-aged building through a large archway where every year the swallows build their nests and swarm over the roof of the patio
in summer is an ideal place to relax in the shade or to enjoy our candlelight gourmet dinners and leisurely breakfast buffet.

Our guests can use the living room with an open fireplace , the big sun-terrace on the roof with a splendid view on the cevennes mountains, patio and garden.

Our Halte Gourmande offers fine gourmet menu and dinner in 4 courses in a special atmosphere in the evenings on a reservation basis from 39 € to 59 € per person (excluding drinks)

the blue room
It is behind the living room and the library and with its windows to the north and the surrounding woods. This is a large room enjoying a pleasant coolness in summer. It houses a large king size bed of 180 x 200 cm, a small table and comfortable chairs as a new corner with old architect chairs, a higher table and a beautiful mirror. His bathroom has a large modern italian shower, antique sink and toilet.

All our rooms can be rented for one person, for two people or with an adjoining room for children. Included in each reservation, breakfast, offered in the form of a large buffet, is served in summer on the patio and in winter in one of our rooms.

We also offer reservations for small groups of friends

or the exclusive reservation of the complete House with the three bedrooms for more privacy from 2 to 8 people.

Our bed and breakfast and gourmet stopover La Vieille Maison offers timeless relaxation and rejuvenation stays. In a green sourrounding, an authentic setting and a serene atmosphere, you can savor our gourmet dinners by candlelight whose inventive, creative and modern cuisine will sometimes be astonishing or full of surprises. In order to be able to enjoy a complete immersive experience, our concept of stay lends itself to booking with dinner.

Our areas "off the beaten path" welcome you in a frame of simplicity and discretion, authenticity and charm for a evening dinner. Our dinners are accompanied by candle lights in our summer patio, on the terrace and in winter in our two rooms around our old fireplace.

Our Gourmet Stop intends to highlight a creative and refined cuisine. For this, recipes prepared with love are offered to you. They create a the mixture of flavors, audacity and inventiveness. On this occasion, you will be able to make surprising culinary experiences with traditional Mediterranean influences but also imbued with cultural riches from various continents, with varied and tasty seasonings. In search of a superior quality of meat, fish and vegetables, we have made the choice of organic, natural by providing us with fresh products exclusively regional. Our meat and poultry, from free-range farming, come from small slaughter structures and family breeding structures in the Cévennes. On the other hand, all our meats are matured. This maturation work, like the aging of the wine or the ripening of the cheese, requires time (between 12 and 14 days) and a unique know-how on the part of the butchers. This step is decisive in obtaining a quality meat, melting and with an exceptionally tasty taste.

Our wine cellar offers a large selection of ancient and new grape varieties of the Languedoc-Roussillon.
